مَن قَالَ: سُبحَانَ اللَّهِ العَظِيمِ وَبِحَمدِهِ غُرِسَت لَهُ نَخلَةٌ فِي الجَنَّةِ

Approximate Arabic reading aid

Man qāla: subḥāna allāhi al'aẓīmi wabiḥamdihi ghurisat lahu nakhlatun fī aljannati

English meaning

Jabbir related that the Prophet said: ‘Whoever says: (How perfect Allah is . The Supreme, and I praise Him.) a palm tree is planted for him in paradise.

Explanation (Tafseer)

“Subhanallahil-‘Azim wa bihamdihi” declares Allah, the Supreme, completely perfect and joins that glorification with praise. The text states that whoever says it has a palm tree planted for them in Paradise, connecting the spoken remembrance with the lasting image named in the entry.
