Sana (Opening supplication) — Invocations for the beginning of the prayer

سُبحانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمدِكَ، وَتَبارَكَ اسمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ، وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيرُكَ

Pronunciation

Subhanakal-lahumma wabihamdika watabarakas-muka wata'ala jadduka wala ilaha ghayruk

English meaning

How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You. Blessed be Your name, and lofty is Your position and none has the right to be worshipped except You.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This opening prayer is entirely centered on Allah. It declares His perfection, joins that declaration with praise, blesses His name, describes His position as lofty, and concludes by affirming that no one else has the right to be worshipped.
