اللَّهُمَّ اكتُب لِي بِهَا عِندَكَ أَجراً، وَضَع عَنِّي بِهَا وِزراً، وَاجعَلهَا لِي عِندَكَ ذُخراً، وَتَقَبَّلهَا مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلتَهَا مِن عَبدِكَ دَاوُدَ

Pronunciation

Allahummak-tub lee biha 'indaka ajra, wada' 'annee biha wizra, waj'alha lee 'indaka thukhra, wataqabbalha minnee kama taqabbaltaha min 'abdika Dawood

English meaning

O Allah, record for me a reward for this (prostration), and remove from me a sin. Save it for me and accept it from me just as You had accepted it from Your servant Dawood.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This prayer asks Allah to record reward for the prostration, remove a sin through it, preserve it as something stored for the supplicant, and accept it. Its final comparison recalls Allah's acceptance of prostration from His servant Dawood.
