اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعوذُ بِكَ مِن عَذَابِ القَبرِ، وَأَعوذُ بِكَ مِن فِتنَةِ المَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ، وَأَعوذُ بِكَ مِن فِتنَةِ المَحيَا وَالمَمَاتِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعوذُ بِكَ مِنَ المَأثَمِ وَالمَغرَمِ

Pronunciation

Allahumma innee a'oothu bika min 'athabil-qabr, wa-a'oothu bika min fitnatil-maseehid-dajjal, wa-a'oothu bika min fitnatil-mahya walmamat. Allahumma innee a'oothu bika minal-ma/thami walmaghram

English meaning

O Allah, I take refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and I take refuge in You from the temptation and trial of Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjal, and I take refuge in You from the trials and tribulations of life and death. O Allah, I take refuge in You from sin and debt.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This prayer asks for refuge from punishment in the grave, the trial of the Dajjal, and the trials of life and death. It then adds two immediate human burdens—sin and debt—bringing together spiritual, future, and worldly concerns in a single request for protection.
