English meaning

The following three Soorahs should be recited once after Zuhr, 'Asr and 'Ishaa prayers and thrice after the Fajr and Maghrib prayers.[Soorah al-Ikhlaas (112)] [Soorah al-Falaq (113)] [Soorah an-Naas (114)]

Explanation (Tafseer)

These three Quran chapters combine affirmation and refuge. Al-Ikhlas declares Allah's oneness and uniqueness; Al-Falaq seeks protection from created harms, darkness, those who blow on knots, and envy; and An-Nas seeks protection in the Lord, King, and God of humanity from retreating whispers arising among jinn and people.
