Approximate Arabic reading aid

Allāhumma mā aṣbaḥa bī min ni'matin aw bi'aḥadin min khalqika faminka waḥdaka lā sharīka laka, falaka alḥamdu walaka ash-shukru. wa idhā amsā qāla: allāhumma mā amsā bī.

English meaning

O Allah, what blessing I or any of Your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto You all thanks.)(…whoever says this in the morning has indeed offered his day’s thanks and whoever says this in the evening has indeed offered his night’s thanks.)(Note: for the evening, one reads (amsa) instead of (asbaha).

Explanation (Tafseer)

This remembrance identifies every blessing received by the supplicant or any other creature as coming from Allah alone without partner. It responds to that recognition with praise and thanks, using parallel morning and evening wording to acknowledge the blessings present at each time.
