لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ العَظِيمُ الحَلِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ العَرشِ العَظِيمِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الأَرضِ وَرَبُّ العَرشِ الكَرِيمِ

Pronunciation

La ilaha illal-lahul-'atheemul-haleem, la ilaha illal-lahu rabbul-'arshil-'atheem, la ilaha illal-lahu rabbus-samawati warabbul-ardi warabbul-'arshil-kareem

English meaning

None has the right to be worshipped except Allah Forbearing. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Lord of the magnificent throne. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the Earth and Lord of the noble throne.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This invocation answers anguish with repeated declarations that only Allah deserves worship. It names Him the Great and Forbearing, Lord of the magnificent Throne, Lord of the heavens and earth, and Lord of the noble Throne. Repetition of divine oneness anchors the prayer amid distress.
