اللَّهُمَّ أَنتَ عَضُدِي، وَأَنتَ نَصِيرِي، بِكَ أَحُولُ وَبِكَ أَصُولُ، وَبِكَ أُقاتِلُ

Pronunciation

Allahumma anta 'adudee, wa-anta naseeree, bika ajoolu wabika asoolu wabika oqatil

English meaning

O Allah, You are my supporter and You are my helper, by You I move and by You I attack and by You I battle.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This invocation addresses Allah as supporter and helper, then attributes movement, advance, and battle to aid from Him. Its repeated “by You” makes dependence the central theme: strength and action are not presented as self-sufficient when confronting an adversary.
