لاَ بأسَ طَهُورٌ إِن شَاءَ اللَّهُ

Pronunciation

La ba'sa tahoorun in shaal-lah

English meaning

Never mind, may it (the sickness) be a purification, if Allah wills.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This phrase comforts a sick person by treating the illness, if Allah wills, as purification rather than only as suffering. It does not deny the sickness; it offers reassurance and hope that the painful experience may carry a cleansing meaning.
