مَن كَانَ آخِرُ كَلاَمِهِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ

Man kāna ākhiru kalāmihi lā ilāha illā allāhu dakhala aljannata

English meaning

i.e. those around the sick should instruct and encourage him to say the shahadah. (He whose last words are: (None has the right to be worshipped except Allah.) will enter Paradise.)

Explanation (Tafseer)

This passage directs those near a dying person to encourage the declaration that none deserves worship except Allah. It centers the final speech on divine oneness and connects that closing testimony, within the wording of the entry, with entry into Paradise.
