اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَســــــأَلُكَ خَيرَهَا، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِن شَرِّهَا

Pronunciation

Allahumma innee as-aluka khayraha wa-a'oothu bika min sharriha

English meaning

O Allah, I ask You for it’s goodness and I take refuge with You from it’s evil.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This prayer concerning the wind asks Allah for whatever good it carries and seeks His protection from whatever evil it carries. The balanced wording neither assumes that every wind is harmful nor that every wind is beneficial; it asks for its good and refuge from its evil.
