اللَّهُمَّ اسقِنَا غَيثاً مُغِيثاً مَرِيئاً مَرِيعاً، نَافِعاً غَيرَ ضَارٍّ، عَاجِلاً غَيرَ آجِلٍ

Pronunciation

Allahummas-qina ghaythan mugheethan maree-an muree'an, nafi'an, ghayra dar, 'ajilan ghayra ajil

English meaning

O Allah, send upon us helpful, wholesome and healthy rain, beneficial not harmful rain, now, not later.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This prayer asks Allah for rain that brings relief, is wholesome and fertile, benefits rather than harms, and arrives without delay. Its careful series of qualities shows that the request is not simply for more rain, but for rain whose timing and effects are genuinely good.
