Pronunciation

Allahumma aghithna, allahumma aghithna, allahumma aghithna

English meaning

O Allah, relieve us, O Allah, relieve us, O Allah, relieve us.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This repeated appeal asks Allah for relief through rain. Saying the same request three times gives urgency to the need without adding conditions or elaborate wording. The speaker turns directly to Allah as the One from whom relief is sought.
