اللَّهُمَّ بَارِك لَهُم فِيمَا رَزَقتَهُم، وَاغفِر لَهُم وَارحَمهُم

Pronunciation

Allahumma barik lahum feema razaqtahum, waghfir lahum warhamhum

English meaning

O Allah, bless for them, that which You have provided them, forgive them and have mercy upon them.

Explanation (Tafseer)

For the hosts who provided a meal, this prayer asks Allah to bless what He has already given them. It then adds two wider requests, forgiveness and mercy, so the response to their hospitality includes their provision, their faults, and their need for Allah’s compassion.
