Invocation for someone who gives you drink or offers it to you

اللَّهُمَّ أَطعِم مَن أَطعَمَنِي، وَاسقِ مَن سَقَانِي

Pronunciation

Allahumma at'im man at'amanee wasqi man saqanee

English meaning

O Allah, feed him who fed me, and provide with drink him who provided me with drink.

Explanation (Tafseer)

This prayer returns kindness to the person who supplied food or drink by asking Allah to feed the one who fed the speaker and give drink to the one who gave drink. It transforms gratitude toward the provider into a direct request that Allah provide for them in return.
