بِسمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبنَا الشَّيطَانَ، وَجَنِّبِ الشَّيطَانَ مَا رَزَقتَنَا

Pronunciation

Bismil-lah, allahumma jannibnash-shaytan, wajannibish-shaytana ma razaqtana

English meaning

In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep the devil away from us and keep the devil away from what you have blessed us with.

Explanation (Tafseer)

Before intercourse, this prayer begins in Allah’s name and asks Him to keep the devil away from the couple. It extends the same protection to whatever Allah may provide them, joining the intimate act and its possible provision under one request for protection.
