جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ خَيراً

Jazāka allāhu khayran

English meaning

If someone does you a favour and you say: (May Allah reward you with goodness.) then you have indeed excelled in praising him.

Explanation (Tafseer)

For someone who has done a favor, this prayer asks Allah to reward that person with goodness. Instead of trying to measure or repay the kindness within the sentence, it entrusts the return to Allah and names goodness as what is desired for the benefactor.
