أَحَبَّكَ الَّذِي أَحبَبتَنِي لَهُ

Ahabbakal-lathee ahbabtanee lah

English meaning

May He, for whom you have loved me, love you.

Explanation (Tafseer)

When someone expresses love for Allah’s sake, this reply asks that the One for whose sake the love was given should love that person. It returns the affection to its stated source, making Allah’s love the answering prayer rather than merely repeating the human sentiment.
