Invocation (upon receipt of the loan) for someone who lends you money

بارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ فِي أَهلِكَ وَمَالِكَ، إِنَّمَا جَزَاءُ السَّلَفِ الحَمدُ وَالأَدَاءُ

Pronunciation

Barakal-lahu laka fee ahlika wamalik, innama jaza-os-salafil-hamdu wal-ada'

English meaning

May Allah bless for you, your family and wealth. Surely commendation and payment are the reward for a loan.

Explanation (Tafseer)

Upon receiving a loan, this prayer asks Allah to bless the lender’s family and wealth. It then names praise and repayment as the return for a loan, joining appreciative words with fulfillment of the financial obligation rather than treating gratitude as a substitute for payment.
