11–13 Dhul-Hijjah — Ayyam at-Tashriq
Days of Tashriq in Mina
Spend the nights in Mina. Each day after zawal, stone all three Jamarat in order (Sughra, Wusta, Aqabah) — seven pebbles at each, saying Allahu Akbar with each throw, with a long pause for dua after Sughra and Wusta. Pilgrims in a hurry may leave after stoning on 12 Dhul-Hijjah; whoever stays does so for greater reward.
What to do
- Stoning must be after zawal each day.
- Pause facing the qiblah for dua after Sughra (with hands raised) and after Wusta — but not after 'Aqabah.
- If leaving on 12 Dhul-Hijjah, depart Mina before sunset; otherwise stay for 13 Dhul-Hijjah.

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Rabbana atina fi-d-dunya hasanatan wa fi-l-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhab an-nar
Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. (Qur'an 2:201)
The Takbir of Tashriq (after every obligatory prayer through Asr of 13 Dhul-Hijjah)
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaha illa-llah. Wa-llahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahi l-hamd
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah. And Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah is all praise.
