Madd — Elongation Rules
Madd al-Leen مَدّ اللِّين
A soft waw or ya with a sukoon preceded by a fatha — held when stopping.
Leen letters are waw and ya carrying sukoon, with a fatha before them — e.g. خَوْف (khawf), بَيْت (bayt). When stopping on such a word, the leen letter is elongated 2, 4, or 6 counts, matching madd 'arid.
